Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometric Analysis, Isolation, Characterization and Biological Activity of Ethanolic Extract of Moss Fabronia secunda Mont.

چکیده
The chemical and biological profile of the ethanolic extract Fabronia secunda examined for first time. gas chromatography-mass spectrometric analysis identified 200 components, which mainly composed lup-20(29)-ene-3,28-diol (4.01 %), guanosine (3.99 1,2-benzene-dicarboxylic acid (3.79 %). Also, chromatographic yielded three compounds, namely stigmasterol (1), β-sitosterol (2) lupeol (3). exhibited superior inhibition superoxide 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radicals with an half maximal inhibitory concentration value 33.5 34.5 μg/ml respectively. Additionally, depicted prominent profiles against alpha-glucosidase pancreatic alpha-amylase values 48.5 58.0 To conclude, this preliminary provides a piece evidence to know metabolism mosses investigation proved therapeutic importance like secunda.
